    About

Enjoyed learning how to make a basic granny square so this project gave me the opportunity to make something useful and practice my new skill. I needed less yarn than the pattern despite adding an edging. I made between two sizes, that’s easy with this pattern where you just keep stitching til it’s the overall desired size. I turned my square at the end of each round, to avoid mis shaping but this does mean the colour changing doesn’t flow in complete rounds.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 5.50mm (US 9)

    Measurements

    XS/M

Notes: I made a size between the xs/m and l/2Xl by making my overall square a size between the two provided measurements. The smaller size pattern was 4 cakes and the larger was 5 cakes, I bought four but did not even use 3 including adding my extra edging
