I found this little Fuchsia on Etsy and thought it looked quite realistic. The pattern suggests just 1 evening and I’d say if not distracted as you need to sew up too. A fun little knit 🧶
Beautiful Maria. And what a gorgeous fuschia you have grown. Do you have to give it lots of water? And do you know its name please? It’s such a gorgeous colour. 🤩💕
Thank you Helen I would like to say I grew it myself but I bought it from b and q plant requiring love I planted it in a terracotta pot three x as big as it had been in and watered it morning and night reviving it with plant food for past 3 weeks I’ve added original label to photos, but there is no name shame as now revived it is beautiful and now I’ve started looking at different fuschias I’ve just purchased another pretty miniature one needing love I might try to knit it too on smaller needles 😂🥰
@Maria L: Very few poppies at all Maria! A few large mauve ones, but my garden is suffering badly in this heat. My roses, however, were a picture in June, but mostly finished now. Hopefully I will still get some. 💕
Thank you Mary it has 6 named parts I am thinking of the learning this little flower holds for me to share with my little grandchildren I might make a story bag of flowers for them 🥰
Yes it is great for scraps and also trying out different coloured fushia we have many pretty coloured ones. Do they grow well where you live, most of them have to go indoors or greenhouse here in winter although I have an all red ‘Tom Thumb’ one that is hardy it can grow really tall 6ftish if left to it’s own devices not like it’s name might suggest 😂
Trying too capture realism while knitting the pattern reacquaints you with correct names for parts of flower too. A fun little extra. It was me who was wilting in the heat though! 😂🥰
