    About

    My nephew’s wife is expecting their first baby in May - my godchild. As I’m making gifts for the little one, I decided to make something for the mom. I have known this girl for 7 or 8 years and have never seen her wear anything but cowboy boots - with jeans, with shorts, with her wedding gown…So I thought it would be fun to make her some house slippers that looked like boots, too! After searching everywhere for a pattern, I couldn’t find one I was happy with, so I took this one and modified it. Instead of buying new yarn, I took worsted weight yarn that I had in my stash and used double strand to make it equivalent to a chunky yarn. I think they came out pretty cute!
