Détails du produit

Zagonal is a half-hexagon-ish wrap with the bind off in the middle instead of at the end!

It contrasts zigzagging lace with dynamic textured stripes, and is designed to be warm, cosy, and fun to knit. It has an engaging and flexible construction that increases until the last third, when it is partly bound off, then decreases down to a single st.

The size of the shawl is adaptable, both the texture stitch and the lace sections can be worked to any size. The formula for the stripes is quick to memorise, and the lace panels can be inserted at intervals of your choice.

Shown in The Fibre Co’s Cumbria Fingering, this pattern suits yarn from fingering up to Aran weight in any yardage over approx 500m.

It is ideal for showing off two or three (or more!) skeins in contrasting or complementary colours. Or try adding a variegated, speckled or gradient yarn into the mix for a different effect.

The pattern can be worked entirely from written pattern, or from charts with some notes.
