Détails du produit

When approaching this design I knew two things from the start: I wanted the silhouette to be cozy enough for a walk in the woods and I wanted to chose a stitch pattern that looked like branches of a tree.

After much thought about the silhouette, I chose a pullover for its easy-going and comfortable nature. I wanted the sweater to have a slightly modern feel, so I made the body boxy and wide, but sloped the shoulders for an attractive fit on top.

The stitch pattern was an easier decision since the name of it is Tree Cable! The cables were fun to place around the pullover. You’ll notice the two back cables are asymmetrical, mimicking uneven branches on a tree. And the sleeve cables are worked from the top down, so they are running in a different direction than the body cables.

Pullover shown in size 44¼" [112 cm] and shorter body length with 9¾" [25 cm] positive ease. It was knit in Loft by Brooklyn Tweed, shade Barn Owl. Substitute yarns are recommended below.
