Wings and Runes is a Nordic-inspired shawl incorporating syncopated brioche knitting (meaning the main colors occur in the pattern as both positive and negative), along with two-stranded colorwork. The piece is knit from the neck down, using deceptively simple Brioche and Knit increases to achieve the “spreading wings” motif.
