The Willow Scarf is a beginner-friendly, lace-textured project inspired by the graceful sway of willow branches. Designed for DK weight yarn on 4.5 mm needles, its adaptable design works beautifully with any weight from fingering to chunky. For best results, use solid or tonal colors to highlight the delicate lace.
Construction & Fit:
- Simple Rhythm: Features a garter increase section, a memorizable lace repeat, and mirrored garter decreases.
- Polished Finish: Includes a built-in faux I-cord edging.
- Customizable: Available in sizes S, M, and L, but easily adjustable in length and width (lace repeat is 3 + 8 stitches).
- Support: Includes step-by-step video tutorials for special techniques.
Note on Yardage: As size and yarn choice vary, there is no "exact" yardage requirement. Only sample measurements of my sample are provided.
The pattern is 8 pages long, but only 4 pages are the actual knitting instructions. Check the pattern photos for a sample page!
