The sweet scent of woodsmoke hangs thick in the air, held by the humidity. The flat clouds seem to have no ceiling. Twigs snap underfoot and the woodpile dwindles as a quick trip outside for more logs is performed swiftly. Inside, the warmth radiates and the woodstove glows golden.
