I collect pretty singles/pairs of skeins. I'm also addicted to fingerless gloves. This is a good combination, except I don't always know how long I can make the gloves before I'll run out of yarn. Lots of glove patterns I see start at the elbow end, which inevitably means I'll end up frogging when I run out of yarn, or regretting that I didn't bite the bullet and make it the length I wanted to. Solution? Write my own pattern, fingers down.
