The shawl „Wandernde Zöpfe“ begins with only a few stitches and grows with increases at one side.
Materials:
Yarn: Cascade Yarn Heathers (100% Peruvian Highland Wool) 220 yards (200 meters) 100g, 2 skeins, shown in colorway „Summer Sky Heather“ nb. 9452.
Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm) circular needle.
Other: 1 stitch marker, row counter (optional), cable needle, tapestry needle. The stitch marker is used for mark the end of the cable pattern and is not mandatory.
**Gauge:**15 stitches and 27 rows in 4 inches (10 cm) in garter stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project, but changes might result in a smaller/larger shawl and different yardage requirement.
