The twisted ribbing that's a key feature of the mitts provides both visual interest in the form of texture and a snug fit. To knit this pattern, you need to know how to work in the round, knit and purl, knit twisted stitches (ktbl) and decreases (k2tog tbl), and do yarnovers.
