Détails du produit

Subtle striping acquired by interchangeably using one and two strands of lace weight yarn make up the body of this wide garter stitch shawl, finished off with an edge of delicate lace. The size makes you want to wrap yourself up in it, providing a little bit of warmth combined with elegance.
Worked top down from the center outwards, the garter stitch body is a mindless knit which can easily be brought to knit night or as travel knitting. The lace border spices it up in the end.

This shawl is named after the trillidium govanianum, a rare Himalayan plant of the Trilliaceae family. The plant has three leaves, and the flower three petals.

Yarn: A lace weight yarn of around 800 meters / 875 yards per 100g, preferably with a high silk content. Around 150g (1200 meters / 1320 yards) is needed.
*I used Juno Fibre Arts Bliss (50% Camel, 50% Silk), 800 meters / 875 yards per 100g, 2 skeins. Colourway: "Ocean".
This yarn has been discontinued, but can be substituted with:</s
