The Target beret pattern is a real 1940s gem. It features a bold crown design plus a series of striking colourwork motifs on the body of the beret. Another unusual feature is a folded stocking stitch hem at the commencement of its brim, adding structure to the beret.
The Target beret is knitted in the round with full colour charts to further simplify the knitting process. The colours used closely match the 1940s original pattern but this beret would look amazing in almost endless combinations!
Target is knitted using Susan Crawford Excelana North fingering weight a soft, fingering weight 100% British wool,
