Sketch
A classic raglan jacket a fitted a shawl collar. Lightweight yet cosy, with a nice drape. Use crochet thread for Summer, or yarn for shoulder seasons. Can be shaped for women or men. Choose from two working methods: (1) Select your prescribed size with a defined stitch gauge. (2) Or use the alteration instructions to personalise the pattern for your own stitch gauge, and for any adult body size and proportions.
Construction
Use a soft honeycomb mesh stitch. Working from the top downwards without seams, begin at the back of the collar and proceed in this order -- collar, yoke, body, edging, sleeves.

Use a variegated yarn, or use a plain yarn and incorporate the decorative lace motifs as desired.
