This simple but adorable kitty is a great stashbuster to use up leftover sock yarn. Unique construction keeps the cozy closed. Be warned, it’s almost impossible to stop after you’ve made one!
Materials: Small amount of sock yarn (under 50 yards total) in main color A (preferably a solid color so the face features show up well) and contrast color B (self-striping, variegated or solid).
Darning needle and scraps of yarn for embroidering eyes, nose, mouth and whiskers. Don’t worry too much about amounts needed, as you can always use extra colors and make the cat more multi-coloured if you are running low on what you started with.
