Crocheted in super-bulky yarn, this hat is super warm and super quick to make -- as well as being super dramatic.
The built-in Starflower earmuffs certainly add the wow factor to warm winter woolies. And -- if you don't live in the Snowbelt and aren't in need of a chill-chaser hat -- just one Starflower makes a lovely adornment.
The unadorned version is a classic, unisex look.
The pattern offers one size for Small to Large with head circumferences of 21 to 23 in./53 cm to 58 cm,
The hat takes approx. 100 yd./91 m with Starflowers and 71 yd./66 m without Starflowers.
The Starflower Beanie is worked from the top down in joined rounds, and the pattern uses U.S. crochet terminology.
