Thiis little coat is a suitable knit for beginners. It Is knitted mainly in stocking stitch and garter stitch. It is a great introduction to top down knitting.
There is a little crochet trim around cuffs, collar and hem, but this is a very simple technique which I have explained in the pattern.
The coat can of course be knitted with out the crochet trim without any detriment to the finished garment.
This pretty little coat would make a lovely baby shower gift.
