Snugglotl the Axolotl is a beginner-friendly amigurumi pattern designed with minimal sewing in mind. The body and head are worked as one piece, and the ridge and gills are added directly to the crocheted base.
The pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated. Use a stitch marker to keep track of the first stitch of each round.
Stitch counts are given at the end of each round in (brackets). Final results may vary slightly depending on your yarn type and individual tension. Adjust stuffing as you go to keep the shape soft but structured.
You can customize your axolotl by changing colors or adding extra facial details. Just be sure to keep the whimsical, squishy charm!
