Here are the abbreviations used K = knit P = purl St/sts = stitch/stitches Ss = stockinet stitch (one row knit, next row purl and repeat) k2tog/p2tog = knit/purl the next two stitches together (decreases one stitch) Inc1 – knit into the front and the back of the next stitch (increases one stitch) Please note, if you use any other method than this, your stitch count may not work out.
