What lady doesn't enjoy wearing a lovely Spring or Summer hat? Here is your chance to knit your own with my Sassy Sun Hat pattern. The hat is knit in the round with worsted/Aran weight kitchen cotton yarn, the type you use to make towels, with a knitted gauge of4 stitches to an inch/2.5 cm. The hat fits women with a head circumference of 20 to 22 inches/51 to 56 cm (by adjusting ribbon tension).
Helpful hints included: avoiding telltale pick up ridges on the back, avoiding steps (jogs) when changing colors in the round, how to apply hat brim wire with YouTube video link included.
Stockinette stripes are alternated with seed seed stripes with narrow stripes on head band.
