Détails du produit

Based on a traditional Japanese design worn by travelers and field-workers, these little hand-coverings are perfect for those moments when you need a little extra warmth and complete freedom of movement in your hands. The open palm construction gives great flexibility in sizing and leaves your grip uncompromised for knitting... or scaling castle walls!

Shown in M/L on a 7 1/2” long hand with an 8” wrist and 4” palm.

Sarutobi is knit from the finger-loop down to the cuff, first flat, then in the round for the cuff. The gauge is slightly looser than regular sock gauge, so for an even smaller size you could drop down a needle size or two.

The construction of the gloves means that a single size will fit a wide variety of hand sizes. The M/L, for example, fits my hand and a hand a half an inch shorter than mine easily. Palm length is a better indicator of fit in this instance than hand length.

Sarutobi Sasuke is a legendary ninja who may have lived in Kansai, Japan in the early 1600s.
