Rusty the Robin

This little robin is bob, bob, bobbing along, with a toasty pair of ear muffs to keep out the winter chill. Make this cheery bird ready to decorate your tree in December. This pattern uses intarsia colour-work to knit their celebrated red breast. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the robin is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. You need up to 12g in each colour of yarn, and the finished robin is 7.5cm tall.
