This light weight poncho is the perfect accessory for stylish layering during those colder months. The Rustic Tweed yarn complements this casual, cabled design.
The large panel, including the larger cable, is completed first. Then stitches are picked up along the side of the larger panel and the shorter, multi-cable panel is completed. The two panels are then sewn together and the ribbed neckline and hem are added.
The pattern requires three skeins of Queensland Rustic Tweed, US8/5mm needles for body, US6/4mm circular needle (16 inch length) for neckline, and US8/5mm circular needle (24 inch or longer length) for lower edge ribbing.
