A lovely winter project for cosy knitting; this pattern takes you step-by-step through making cuddly reindeer toys wrapped up warmly for Christmas.
With clear row-by-row instructions and lots of photos to help you, these toys are knitted flat on 3mm straight knitting needles- NO knitting in the round is needed.
You'll need to be able to cast on, cast off, knit, purl and increase and decrease to make these reindeers and their colourful dungarees.
You can use any Dk yarn you have in your stash to knit these toys, these are the ones we used:
Stylecraft Special DK in Stone (1710)- half a ball for each reindeer
King Cole Glitz Dk in Cherry (481) small amount for the noses
Stylecraft Special Dk in Grey (1099)- small amount for antlers
King Cole Big Value Tweed Dk in Berry (153) & Stylecraft Special Dk in Cornish Blue (1841) 40g each for dungarees
You’ll also need a small amount of Dk yarn for scarves.
