Some time ago I was searching the Ravelry patterns for a rose beret. It should have been a special kind: roses and leaves in rounds around a beret. As I couldn't find anything like this I had to make my own pattern.
And I love all about it!
It is knit in three colours, has a corrugated ribbing, bands of roses and their leaves around the body section and at the top is a beautiful single rose.
And there are at most two colours in one row.
I knit it three times and it's one of my easier patterns (the rose pattern is easy to remember).
You can change the colour of the roses to your favorite rose colour.
Also black roses would look great. If you choose white roses, then you could change the background to dark green and use a lighter green for the leaves. You could also use a black background but then I would recommend to use a lighter green.
