This is a simple dinosaur themed beanie for kids which is knitted-in-the-round.
The band is composed of a simple slip stitch pattern using two different yarns.
There is some hand sewing needed to attach the horns to the crown.
Included with the pattern is an introduction to circular knitting as well as techniques and abbreviations.
I have used photos were necessary as well as full instructions for beginners.
The gauge is 22 sts to 10cm or 5 1/2 sts to 1 inch over stockingstitch (stockingnette).
Lengths are given in metric and imperial units.
Yardage for larger size is approximately 250m/275yards.

- Self striping yarn looks good, but a plain yarn would work fine. Wool or a high-percentage wool blend are best, especially for horns. Round marker.
