Riley Rose Hat is a 5-colored slouchy hat based on the stitch patterns in my Riley Rose shawl. It is an easy to knit hat project where the stitch patterns and colors change just often enough to keep you from getting bored! Pairs well with the Riley Rose Shawl & Cowl.
The hat is meant to be worn with 2 inches of negative ease. The finished hat is very stretchy. The sample shown in knit in size Teen (17 inch circumference) on a 21 inch head and fits very comfortably. If you like a snug fit and are unsure, I’d recommend sizing down.
If you prefer less slouch, you can reduce the number of ribbing rounds at the beginning of the hat.
This pattern has been test knit & tech edited so you can have confidence in the instructions.
