Pat-a-Cloth is a baby-sized washcloth for monumental messes.
You’d better get a move on: Babies are awfully messy, so you’re going to need a lot of wipes to keep up. Knitting this bum-sized cloth is a cake walk, though. It’s based on a simple, traditional dishcloth pattern, with an embossed heart added in for a bit of extra interest.

My take on the classic “Grandmother’s Favorite” cloth begins with just one stitch and is worked corner to corner, increasing one stitch per row. Once the desired length of two sides is reached, cloth decreases by one stitch per row to complete the other two sides of the square.
