Design:
The front, back and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom-up. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline. One shoulder has a 3-button fastening to make it easier to lift the jumper over the child’s head. A chart is provided to complete the Father Christmas motif.
Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply)
The jumper in the picture has been knitted for size 0-6 months and uses:
Stylecraft Special DK shade:Cornish Blue (1841), White (1001), Lipstick (1246), Parchment (1218) and Black (1002).
