Design:
The Jacket has cute Father Christmas motifs to the back and front. The back, left side, right side and sleeves are knitted separately up to yoke and then slipped onto same needle to complete the yoke which has an attractive cable design. The sleeves and side seams are sewn together. Stitches are picked up for the front button/buttonhole bands. A chart is provided to follow for the motifs.
Yarn:
Double knitting wool is required wool (an alternative for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
The picture shows the jacket knitted for size 18-24 months old using Sirdar Snuggly DK in shades: Pastel Blue (0321), White (0251), Flamenco (0242), Black (0312) and Rico Baby Classic DK in shades Light Pink (Powder 038).
