This is a lovely project to create for a new baby, especially if the parents want to have a baby photoshoot done. It takes just one ball of yarn plush some oddments of a contrasting colour and it knits up quickly on 6mm knitting needles.
I developed this design for a local photography studio for them to have some cute and whimsical props for their new baby portraits, they absolutely loved them!!
I have also been making baby gifts for colleagues who are leaving to have their first babies and these have featured in all of the gifts.
This is a fairly easy design suitable for any beginner that has mastered the basics of knitting. You will have ot be able to cast on, cast off, work stocking stitch, increase and decrease as well as sew a number of pieces together.
Three sizes are included from newborn to 3-6 months.
