Nestoria is a simple drop shoulder sweater worked from the top down with special twisted rib details. It starts with the shoulders shaped with German short rows, then the upper body is worked flat with a round neck shaping. The body is then joined in the round and worked to the hem. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round downwards with decreases to taper them until the cuffs. Finally the collar is picked up around the neckline and worked as a wide mock-turtleneck.
This beginner friendly sweater is a blank palette for any special yarn. It's an easy relaxing knit that gives the basis of top-down drop shoulder constructions. Links to video tutorials are provided for the required specific techniques such as cast-on methods and short-rows.
