There’s nothing more beautiful than the moonlit sea, with moonlight playing on the waves and dark shadows beneath. The stitch patterns of this scarf shawl are reminiscent of the waves, and the colour of the yarn, with lighter patches, is like the moon shining on them. I just love this yarn!
Chunky/bulky yarn and larger than usual needles mean the resulting scarf shawl is fluid and not too thick – perfect as a shawl for summer evenings or for wearing over your coat as a warm scarf, in the winter. Add 3 tassels or not – both styles are lovely.
Suitable for the confident beginner, (basic skills needed - plus yarn forward and knit 2 together), or an easier TV knit, or if you like knitting and nattering at the same time! Line by line instructions in English with British/US terms. Photos included for yarn forward and making tassels.
