Inspired by fishing nets and the colors of the ocean - soft, cozy and VERY stretchy. The pattern includes instructions for a sweet little Baby Mermaid Top with Scallop Shells which ties around the back and neck halterneck style.
Level: Intermediate - You need to have experience of knitting patterns, working in the round on a circular needle and working on double pointed needles. The snuggle blanket is knitted in the round so that there are no seams and NO sewing ivolved.
The tail is worked with 2 strands of US fingering (UK 4ply) held together.
The pattern is very detailed (15 pages) and is fun to work - a satisfying knitting project for intermediate knitters who are used to knitting in the round and are able to work on circular and double pointed needles.
