A fresh look in the beautiful new Lucienne shawl. It’s bold, it’s colorful and just absolutely lovely in a perfect balance of colors. First you knit that bottom gorgeous lace band, then you knit upwards with a cool slipped stitch pattern, followed by a wavy pattern interrupted with contrasting lines. A stretchy bind off finishes this shawl with a slight contrasting edge.
C1 - A Pima cotton, 437 yards/100 grams a skein in a fingering weight. C2 - A skein cotton yarn in a DK weight. 125 yards/50 grams a skein.
Notions neededUS size 4 (3.5 mm) in a circular needle 36” (91 cm) in length. 18 Stitch markers. Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 18 sts and 22 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch with fingering weight yarn.
