I deliberately chose for this baby blanket soft and reserved colors. Little Orchid is a beautiful pattern, which is inspired by ancient carpet patterns of Asia Minor. The blanket is designed with two pieces of a patchwork fabric on the backside, that the baby´s face does not come in contact with the wool.
The blanket is made flat in one piece (not in rounds).
Skill level: for experienced knitters
Finished size: 70 cm width x 91 cm length
Materials: 350 grams of Jamieson´s of Shetland Spindrift (105 m/ 25 g) - 10 colors; Patchwork fabric, 100% cotton of size 80 cm x 50 cm
The pattern includes photos, a knitting technique tutorial, detailed preparation and knitting instructions, sewing instructions and nice colored charts.
