A larger bag with short handles perfect for packing a few essentials for a trip to the seaside or for taking on a small shopping spree! A quick make with this lovely super chunky cotton cord which gives the bag a durable and sturdy finish!!
The bag is approximately 30cm tall x 19cm diameter at the base tapering to around 40cm at the top.
Only basic skills are required including forming magic rings, HDC and increasing (US Crochet Terms). Crochet is done mainly through the 3rd loop of the HDC stitch to create a chain effect surface pattern. The tutorial gives full instructions as well as images. Details for all the materials I used are also noted on the pattern but Ask a Question if you’d like to know more.
