Leopold & Lenora Lion, are friendly chatty lions who love making new friends.
They can be knitted by complete beginners, with straight arms and legs. Or for those who want to have a go using wrap stitch they can have elbows and knees. Full illustrated instructions on how to complete wrap stitch are included in the pattern. There are a lot of small pieces to knit and sew on so some patience is required to complete this pattern.
The pictures show the lions completed in Paintbox simply chunky yarn on a size 3mm knitting needle and they are approximately 18inches tall when sitting. This pattern can also be completed in Dk or Aran yarn but that will change the quantities of materials you'll need.
Skills needed to complete this project are: Knit stitch, knit front and back, knit 2 stitches together, cast off and wrap stitch (which is optional).
