“Lengsel” is a triangular textured shawl worked from the neck down. It is an easy and relaxing knit, worked in a simple cable pattern and a 4 x 2 rib, at the edge.
The cable-texture makes this knit a meditative and addictive piece to work on and the tassels added to the corners give it a more cozy feeling. The finished piece is a large, cozy shawl to wrap around you, so you can stay warm and comfy.
Increases are worked at the beginning and end of each half of the shawl, on every RS (odd numbered) row, totaling up to 4 increased sts.
Various techniques are used in the pattern including the Garter Tab cast-on, Jeny’s Superstrechy Bind-off, cabling, and yo, m1l and m1r increases.
The pattern contains both written and charted instructions.
