I can't get enough of cowls, for knitting and wearing. Cowls are a great way to try new stitches and/or yarn without a big investment. They are also perfect for carry along knitting and make wonderful gifts! I also have at least one cowl on my needles. Here is a newly finished one knit in one skein of Noro Silk Garden Sock. A simple lace pattern and Garter Stitch on larger needles work up prettily in this self striping yarn.
The sample shown was knit in Silk Garden Sock Yarn by Noro in shade S268.
Gauge: 16 sts and 30 rows = 4” in Gtr St after wet blocking.
