This is a patternfor a crochet shawl made with fine, fingering (category 1) yarn and size E/4 (3.5 MM) hook. The finished measurements are about 69 inches wide and 28 inches long. The gauge in this pattern is not important, so you can work with the hook that is most comfortable for you. The specific yarn that I used, which created the gradual color change, is Flowers by YarnArt (1093 yards). Other similar yarns will work too.
The skill level is intermediate. Only basic stitches are used here, but the pattern is quite long and you need to read it very carefully. I tried to write it as detailed as possible, including lots of explanatory notes.
The pattern is written in English, using the US crochet terminology.
