As days become longer and warmer, our sweaters lose their weight and embrace lace embellishments. The spring air filled with aromas of blooming trees was an inspiration for this pullover. Kviten means “the blossoming one” in Ukrainian, and it’s also the name of a second spring month. Full of air, with blooming sleeves, and decorated with lots of small details, Kviten Sweater is a lovely addition to a warmer months wardrobe.
The sweater is knit seamless from the top down with saddle shoulders and dropped sleeves. It’s decorated with an interesting and simple lace stitch at the shoulders, sleeves, sides, and along the neckline. Wide sleeves, v-neck and straight lines guarantee a comfortable fit.
Material: silk mohair lace weight yarn held triple or fluffy dk weight yarn that results in the same gauge - 24 sts and 30 rows in 4”/10cm in Stockinette Stitch, blocked.
