This crochet pattern is inspired by the character Kon from the popular anime series 'Bleach'. He is very detailed and roughly 40cm tall.
This crochet pattern is inspired by a stuffed lion called Kon! His name is short for Kaizō Konpaku, he originates from the popular Japanese anime called ‘Bleach’, In the anime he was one of the last mod-souls to be created, who occasionally doubles as a Soul Candy pill for one of the characters, Ichigo Kurosaki, taking charge of his Human body.
Kon's stuffed animal body originated from a fake version of ‘Ponkichi’, the main character of a popular TV show called ‘Carnivore Kingdom’. It was purchased in the Karakura Town Festival for a small child instead of a more expensive, official version. The child didn't approve of the knock-off, so then threw it away.
