Détails du produit

Traditionally, carp wind streamers called Koinobori are raised during Children's Day as a part of Japan's Golden Week Celebration to celebrate children, their happiness & strength while respecting their diverse personalities. Koinobori has a Magoi (black carp) representing the father, followed by Higoi (red carp) for the mother & smaller varied coloured streamers denoting their ages & gender for each child in the household.

We gave our Koinobori a modern twist with sock-like construction. The pattern is also flexible that you could make more, turn them into a fishing game or simply string them together into garlands instead of attaching it to a pole. They will surely make fantastic props for children's parties or inject some colours in room decors.
