Joplin is an ode to Scott Joplin; the whimsical sounds of ragtime music filled the air as I sat and knit this up. The shawl is boomerang-shaped and consists of simple slipped stitches paired with garter and stockinette. It is an intuitive pattern and one that can be easily knit up while listening to your favorite music.
Joplin uses six gradient skeins (Miss Babs Gradient in Yummy 2-Ply Toes in Gemstone) coupled with a main color (Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply in Fleur de Sel). However, the shawl can be easily altered to accommodate other yarns. A discussion of yardages and the use of five-gradient sets is included in the pattern.
In Joplin werden 6 Farbverlaufstöne mit einer Grundfarbe kombiniert, das Tuch kann jedoch auch aus anderen Garnen gearbeitet werden. Die Anleitung enthält Hinweise zum Einsatz anderer Garne sowie Anweisungen für die alternative Verwendung von Verlaufssets aus nur 5 Farbtönen.
