The design of these mitts features a subtle gradient that begins at the base of each mitt and culminates in a botanical flourish. The image is rendered in an array of radiant tones, reminiscent of autumn leaves illuminated by sunlight. The wide graphic panel on the back of each mitt wraps around to meet a narrower panel along the palm side. The mitts are knit at a tight gauge for warmth and durability. This pattern is recommended for knitters who have experience with stranded colorwork, reading from charts, and knitting in the round. The mitts pictured above were created with Brooklyn Tweed Loft, in colorways Homemade Jam, Long Johns, Embers, and Woodsmoke.
