This cocoon is a companion to my Humble Acres Hat pattern. 6 colors fade as you work down this pattern. This is a simple stockinette stitch pattern and is perfect for a new knitter as well as a seasoned one. I designed this for twins to be snuggled down into together. I used to swaddle twins together when I worked in the birth center. I love seeing those little ones all squashed up like that.

Less than one hank of each color needed. When choosing yarn for this it helps if there are some cross over colors from one color way to the next. The color ways can vary widely, but it helps if they do have one or two colors in common.

US size 7/4.5mm US size 6/4mm.
Gauge:
20 sts x 29 rounds = 4 inches x 4 inches in stockinette stitch in the round.
