This springy shawl is perfect for the lighter seasons, when there are many chilly mornings and breezy afternoons. A simple lace leaf repeat keeps you entertained, while garter stitch provides relaxation. The lace pattern, "scalloped leaves, " is from Nicky Epstein’s wonderful book Knitting on the Edge, and it is a delight to knit. This shawl was knit up in a very special yarn created by my friend and local shepherd, Theresa. I love how the yarn is fuzzy and rustic-looking but still quite soft. I hope you love knitting this shawl and wearing it to your heart’s content!
