I used Cascade 220 Heathers.
Remnants of red, white and black yarn for eyes and halter.Remnant of novelty fur yarn for mane.

Knitting needles: DPN's 3.75 mm or US 5
darning needle
The combination of the thicker yarn with the smaller needles created a cosy, hard wearing knit, just right for warm slipper socks.You can make plain slippers using this pattern also. Just omit the embellishments.This pattern is knit in the round.
