Herse, Tochter des Kekrops und der Aglauros, eine der drei Tauschwestern, bei den alten Griechen als eine Taugöttin verehrt und mit der Göttin Athene in Zusammenhang gebracht. Ihre Geschichte wird durch das strukturierte und dennoch chaotisch wirkende Bordürenmuster symbolisiert.
Das Tuch wird in Reihen gestrickt und kombiniert mehrere Strukturen: Im Köper finden sich glatt recht, kraus rechts, einfache Lochmusterreihen und Perlen. In der Bordüre sind verschiedene Lacemuster und Perlen kombiniert.

The shawl ist worked flat and combines several structures: The body Shows stockinette and garter stitch, eyelet rows and beads. The border ist made up by a combination of different lace patterns and beads.
